  • PERSONAL DATA:

    • Personal SPID;
    • Residence permit (or common E.U. Certification);
    • Passport;
    • Identity Card;
    • Italian tax code (codice fiscale);
    • Married women who have changed family name after marriage, have to enclose the certificate of marriage and/or divorce (as well as translated,legalized or apostilled);
    • In case of discrepancies of the personal data, ask your Consulate in Italy for a declaration showing the correct personal data.

  • DOCUMENTS IN YOUR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN

    • Birth certificate of the country where you were born (permanently valid) to be translated and legalised or apostilled into the country of origin duly;
    • Criminal records form your country of origin and any third country where you resided (being valid for six months from the date of issue) to be translated and legalised or apostilled in the country of issuance;

  • PERSONAL DOCUMENTS:

    • Self-certification on family status and record of past places of residence of the last 10 years for non-eu citizens (4 years for eu citizens);

  • INCOME DECLARATIONS:

    • Income (CUD/730/UNICO forms) of the last three years;

      Please note that such criteria are updated on a yearly basis.

      Required income 2021:
      • Applicant only euro 8,263;
      • Applicant with dependent spouse euro 11,362;
      • Add euro 516 for each dependent family member;

      You may integrate your income with that of cohabiting family members.
      (Produce family maintenance statement and present the consent data processing and a copy of the declarant ID card).
      The cohabiting family member may integrate his/her income but the registration in the local municipality as an unmarried couple is required.

  • OTHER DOCUMENTS:

    • Code of the application (K10/) if other applications for citizenship have been submitted before or family members’ code if they have a pending application for citizenship;
    • Demonstration of knowing italian language B1 level of CEFR in one of following ways:

    If you reside in Italy:

  • You have been married to an Italian citizen for at least 2 years
  • You have been residing together with your spouse, naturalised as Italian after 2 years from the acquisition of the citizenship

    If you reside abroad:

  • You have been married to an Italian citizen for 3 years
  • and you have been residing abroad for 3 years with your spouse

In case of a child who was born or adopted within marriage the times are reduced by half
